Leading actress Urmila Matondkar recently said goodbye to the Congress and joined the Shiv Sena. Speaking to the media recently made interesting comments. He said he regretted his minimal affiliation with the Congress party. He made it clear that he did not want to be a politician sitting in AC rooms and doing tweets. She explained that she grew up as a film actress with the admiration of the people and wanted to be recognized as a public leader in that cove. That is why he came to the Shiv Sena party. Urmila said that he does not care about caste and religion and only works for the people.
Urmila contested and lost the North Mumbai Lok Sabha constituency on behalf of the Congress in the last elections. He has been left to the Congress party ever since. Urmila rejected an offer by the Congress to give an MLC seat in the Governor’s quota in the Legislature.
