GENEVA (Reuters) – A senior World Health Organization official said Tuesday the agency was in talks with Pfizer to include the COVID-19 vaccine as part of an early global rollout.

Bruce Aylward, WHO senior advisor, said he saw a “strong commitment” from his CEO Albert Bourla to keep prices at levels that are appropriate for poorer populations. He was expecting some news about more manufacturers who would join the list of suppliers of the COVAX vaccine facility in the coming weeks, he added.
