Volkswagen presented the Polo facelift in 2021 worldwide with a series of updates. Presale of the new Polo is expected to start in May.
The Volkswagen Polo facelift 2021 was presented worldwide. The popular Polo hatchback now has a mid-cycle facelift that includes a number of design updates as well as additional features and equipment.
The new facelift version of the sixth generation Volkswagen Polo is available in four variants – Polo, Life, Style & R-Line.
The entry-level equipment of the 2021 Polo includes standard LED headlights, LED taillights, an 8.0-inch digital cockpit, a 6.5-inch monitor with Bluetooth pairing interface and 14-inch alloy wheels (optionally 15 inch ) fitted.
The higher-quality Polo Style fairing is equipped with new IQ LED matrix headlights with LED daytime running lights that extend to the slim radiator grille. It is now also equipped with LED fog lights, a striking chrome-look crossbar, 14 inches (optional 15-inch Ronda light alloy wheels and LED taillights as standard).
The Volkswagen Polo R-Line is the sporty version and offers some additional elements. These include a high-gloss black air inlet and diffuser, integrated exhaust trims in a chrome look and larger 16-inch Valencia alloy wheels.
The interior of the new Volkswagen Polo has also been comprehensively updated. The 2021 iteration of the popular hatchback now comes with a digital instrument cluster and large touchscreen infotainment head-unit with the brand’s Ready2Discover system, which offers wireless app connection and a navigation system. The new Polo is also equipped with premium upholstery, a steering wheel with mounted controls, electrically adjustable and heated ORVMs and many others.
Volkswagen has not yet announced the technical data of the Polo hatchback model in 2021. Given that this is a mid-cycle facelift, it is expected that the same engine and transmission options as before will be adopted.
