The company posted a message on the OnePlus forum informing users that OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7T series smartphones are experiencing issues with data decryption errors after upgrading the phones to Android 11. As a result, the company states that there will be delays and it may not be able to stick to its original update rollout plan.

OnePlus added that it is working with Qualcomm’s technical team to fix this issue as soon as possible and it seems that the solution should be available within a week. The company added that if all goes according to plan, the closed beta could be released this month and the open beta soon after.

In the meantime, details of the company’s upcoming flagship smartphones of the OnePlus 9 series have surfaced online. Practical pictures of the OP9 were recently posted online showing the design as well as some key specifications. The next-generation smartphone series is expected to be official in March next year.
