Tet soon!

  • Academic preparations begin
  • Syllabus‌ Exercise on design
  • Chance to take the test online

Hyderabad, Namaste Telangana: The school education department has focused on conducting the Teacher Eligibility Test (TS) in the state. Officials feel that the TET needs to be maintained in the light of the fact that the process of replacement of teachers will not start soon. SCERT officials have started the exercise on formulating rules, syllabus and pattern of questions as per the guidelines of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) regarding the examination. Applications are expected to be received online and the test will also be conducted online. Kovid argues that this is better in terms of regulations. Nearly three and a half lakh candidates who have completed BEd, DEd and Linguistics courses will benefit from TET management. TET was held in 2017. Only 45,000 of them qualified. Now there are 1.50 lakh new BED and DED graduates, up to nearly two lakh who were not previously eligible. The number of applications is likely to increase this time as NCTE has announced that BED graduates will not be eligible for SGT either. From 2021 onwards, once you qualify for the TET, the priority will be given to the exam to be conducted this time as the lifespan is applicable.
