The tech-enabled sweater is primarily designed for the coronavirus-hit world, where wearing a face mask and being two meters away from the closest person is the best way to stay safe.
The sweater is built into motion sensors that trigger a siren when someone is within two meters. It helps you create a safe space for you without affecting the party fun. The nifty sweater would kindly inform your visiting friends and family members if they got too close and would have to retreat – to keep everyone safe!
The availability
Social Distancing Sweater is just a prototype at this point. However, SimpliSafe will be giving away a limited number of sweaters. A version of the sweater without electronics and sensors can also be purchased online from the SimpliSafe website.
