Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is one of Bollywood’s sports fanatics, especially when it comes to cricket. While an active cricketer in college, he is now the proud owner of a cricket team. He is also closely associated with Indian players and is probably the closest to cricket legend Kapil Devi. However, did you know that SRK and Kapil Dev once teamed up for an impromptu football game instead of cricket?

We came across a vintage monochrome image from the 90s that is currently on the internet. In the picture you can see the young looking SRK who offers Kapil Dev a tough competition at a soccer game. While it seems like a friendly game where both legends are joined by their other friends, it certainly speaks a lot about their love of the sport, be it cricket or soccer.

As SRK returns to SRK’s current work front, he is currently filming for his upcoming film ‘Pathan’, directed by Sidharth Anand. The film will also star Deepika Padukone with a special appearance by Salman Khan as its iconic Tiger. Shah Rukh Khan is also part of Aamir Khan’s ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ with Kareena Kapoor.
