Redmi Note 9T receives TÜV Rheinland certification; Start imminent

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note9 series in China back in November. Since then, the devices have appeared in other country certifications, prompting us to launch an imminent global market. Following this, the Note9 4G launched with a few improvements as POCO M3 Global and Redmi 9 Power in India today (December 17th). In addition, several reports state that the Redmi Note9 5G from China could also be launched worldwide as the Redmi Note 9T 5G. To determine this, the device has TÜV Rheinland certification.

As you can see below, the TUV certification website shows a Redmi device with the model number M2007J22G. If you recall, the NBTC certification in Thailand revealed that the M2007J22G was part of the Redmi Note 9T 5G some time ago. In addition to the device, two other model numbers M2007J22R, M2007J22C appear.

Before the start of the Redmi Note9 series in China, a device with a similar model number M2007J22C was listed at TENAA. This later turned out to be the Redmi Note9 5G with Dimensional 800U SoC. If we look at all of this, we can safely say that the M2007J22G is a global variant of the Redmi Note9 and has been nicknamed the Redmi Note 9T. We also suspect that the M2007J22R might just be a version for Russia (R – Russia).

Redmi Note 9T (technical data)

Given that the device shares model numbers with the Chinese variant, the specifications should be the same unless Xiaomi decides to surprise us with last-minute changes. In this case, the device will likely have a 6.53-inch FHD + LCD display with a hole in the top left. A Dimensity 800U chipset with LPPDR4x RAM and UFS 2.1 memory could be operated under the hood.

Redmi Note 9 5G All colors recommended

On the back, it should have a similar circular camera layout as the Chinese Note9 Pro 5G. However, there will likely only be three sensors, namely 48MP main, 8MP ultra wide, and one 2MP sensor. Other expected specifications are a 5,000 mAh battery with 22.5 W fast charge, SA / NSA 5G, WLAN, Bluetooth, GPS, GLONASS, MicroSD slot and more.

In addition, the device has received SIRIM certification from Malaysia. The start should therefore take place in several regions. Let’s wait for the official teasers to find out more.
