PCB is the reason for my retirement
Internet Desk: Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir has blamed Pakistan team ownership for announcing his retirement at the age of 28. He made the remarks while bidding farewell to international cricket three days ago while speaking on a YouTube channel. Head coach Misbah-ul-Haq and bowling coach Waqar Younis have been accused of spreading false propaganda about him in the team. He lamented that he was not interested in playing Test cricket and that he was playing T20 leagues for money. He said it was very difficult to make a name for any player.
He said it was not good to come out like this, but, he came in front of people he could not bear. He explained that he had a dispute with Misbah and Younis and wanted to let people know that this was exactly what was happening. He also said that he was not selected out of the 35 for the tour of New Zealand and that he did not need to worry about this if he was really interested in the T20 leagues. He said he could not give a clear information on whether he should continue in the team as a senior player. Aamir claimed that he had excelled in the Asia Cup, Champions Trophy and last year’s ODI World Cup and was still in the ICC rankings. Asked what to do next. He asked what he should do without playing league matches when he was not selected for the national team. He made it clear that he wanted to show off his talent even that way.
