Actor-turned-politician Kamal Haasan on Tuesday evening expressed his desire to work with his fellow superstar Rajinikanth. He said that if our ideology is the same and it can benefit the people, then we are willing to leave our ego and cooperate with each other. He also gave a positive indication about the alliance with Rajinikanth’s party All India Makkal Sevai Katchi (All India People’s Service Party).

If he contacts me, we will sit together and discuss it further together. At the same time, he said about the alliance with Asaduddin Owaisi’s party AIMIM, “I have been given the right to take decisions in our party. I will announce an alliance with him soon. At the moment, I will not be able to say much on this. “
Haasan started his campaign on December 13 for the next year’s Tamil Nadu assembly elections. The first phase of this campaign is from 13 to 16 December, in which he can visit the districts of Madurai, Theni, Dindugul, Virudhunagar, Tirunelveli, Tuticorin and Kanyakumari. He formed his own party in 2018 and also contested general elections, but no MP could be formed from his party.
At the same time, Rajinikanth has also formed his own party. His party name and party symbol has been revealed. Rajinikanth’s party is named All India Makkal Sevai Katchi (All India People’s Service Party) and the party symbol has been given as ‘Auto’.
