Trump responds to cyber attack
Washington: President Trump has for the first time responded to a recent cyber-attack on US government departments and private companies. He said China was responsible for the incursions, not Russia. Trump made the remarks in defiance of a statement by Defense Secretary Mike Pompeo on Friday that it was becoming clear that Russia was behind the cyber attack. “There is more cyber-attack coming from the fake media than the reality. I know the details thoroughly. “Everything is under government control,” Trump tweeted. He alleged that there was no discussion in the media that China might be responsible for the incident. Criticisms have been leveled in the United States that Trump has been adopting a pro-Russia stance since he was elected president. The National Cyber Security Agency has warned that the cyber attack poses a serious threat to the government and private companies.
