MG entered the Indian market with its SUV MG Hector. The company will update this popular car. Through this update, some new features will be seen in this SUV. This car was launched in India in the year 2019. This car has been well liked in India. The company is bringing its mill life update to maintain the sale of its bestselling car.

When will the Hector facelift model be launched?
The company will launch the facelift version of the car in January 2021. The company will use the new grille in its facelift model. This new grill will resemble the Hector sold in the South American market. In this car, the company will also use 18 inch alloy wheels which will improve the visual appeal of the car. The current model comes with a 17 inch wheel.

Hector Facelift: engine and gearbox
The company can get Hector facelift with 1.5 liter petrol, 2.0 liter diesel and 1.5 liter petrol mild-hybrid option. A 6-speed manual gearbox will be available for both petrol and diesel versions. The 1.5 liter petrol model will also come with a 6 speed dual clutch automatic gearbox.

Current Model Engine and Power
The Hector is powered by a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine that generates 143hp power and 250Nm torque. The diesel engine is 2.0-liter, which generates 170hp power and 350Nm torque. Both engines have a 6-speed manual gearbox standard. The petrol engine also has a 6-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox option. Apart from these two engines, the company has also given 48V mild hybrid variant of petrol engine. Hybrid variants only get a 6-speed manual gearbox option.
