After the introduction of BS6 Norms in April 2020, the company decided to stop using diesel engines and use only petrol and CNG motors. Now the company can change its decision soon.

How long will the diesel engine return
According to the report, the company will soon return to the Indian market with a diesel engine, but no fixed date has been announced by the company. It is believed that the company can re-introduce the diesel engine in the next year i.e. 2021.

Diesel engine will be used in these models
The company will launch Maruti Vitara Brezza and Ertiga MPV in 2021. The company can also bring both these models with diesel engines. Both of these are one of the most popular cars in the company.

Maruti in preparation for new SUV
Maruti Suzuki is preparing to increase its range of Nexa products. For this, the company will soon launch some of its new models in the market. It will have a mid-size SUV and a premium 7 seater MPV. Maruti’s new compact SUV will be based on Toyota’s Raize SUV. In India, this car will compete with Kia Celtos and Hyundai Creta. The company’s new C segment MPV will be based on the Toyota B560.
