Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan biopic first poster: Mahesh Babu praises Adivi Sesh as a 26/11 hero – Bollywood

Major’s first poster, a biopic about Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, was unveiled Wednesday and actor Adivi Sesh made the look the 26/11 hero. Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, a bilingual film from across India, Major also stars Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar, Prakash Raj, Revathi and Murali Sharma

Telugu star Mahesh Babu shared the poster and tweeted: “I’m happy to present the first #Major look! I wish you a happy birthday @AdiviSesh. I’m sure Major will go down as one of your best accomplishments. Good luck and luck always! “

The film traces the journey of the late army officer Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who sacrificed his life for India in the November 26th attacks in Mumbai. Major is filmed in Hindi & Telugu at the same time.

Earlier this year, on the anniversary of Major Unnikrishnan’s death, the creators revealed the look test picture of Adivi Sesh, along with a video in which the actor revealed his journey to filming the film and paid tribute to the martyr’s memories.

Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan was leading a team of NSG commandos to flush terrorists out of the Taj Palace Hotel in Mumbai when he was fatally wounded. On January 26, 2009 he was awarded the Ashok Chakra, the highest peace prize for gallantry in the country.

Major is produced by Sony Pictures Films India in collaboration with Mahesh Babus GMB Entertainment and A + S Movies and is scheduled to be released in summer 2021.
