Earlier on 1 December 2020, the rates of LPG Gas Cylinder were increased. The price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder (Commercial Gas Cyliner Price) was increased by up to 55 rupees. However, in October and November, HPCL, BPCL, IOC did not make any changes in the price of LPG cylinders. Normally, oil companies revise LPG prices on the first date of every month, but this time something different happened. On 1 December, the IOC said that there has been no increase in the price of 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder. Its price in Delhi has been kept constant for the seventh consecutive month at Rs 594. But after 8 days, the price of 14.2 kg non-subsidized LPG cylinder was increased by Rs 50 to Rs 644 in Delhi on IndianOil website.
According to the website of IndianOil, on December 1, the price of 14.2 kg non-subsidized LPG in four metros of the country was stated as Rs 594 in Delhi, Rs 620.50 in Kolkata, Rs 594 in Mumbai and Rs 610 in Chennai. On the same website on December 9, the price of 14.2 kg non-subsidized LPG has been increased to Rs 644 in Delhi, Rs 670.50 in Kolkata, Rs 644 in Mumbai and Rs 660 in Chennai.
