Juhi Chawla is confirmed with Kolkata Knight Riders after their fight against the Chennai Super Kings

Juhi Chawla used social media to support Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) who suffered a narrow loss in their 15th game against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at Wankhede Stadium. The KKR co-owner took to Twitter praising the team’s efforts in a close encounter with MS Dhonis CSK. Good punching performances from Pat Cummins, Andre Russell and Dinesh Karthik helped KKR take over the game until the last time during the chase. “Proud of our team KKR … after such a shaky start that made us look like we collapsed … !!!! Our boys played strong and hard and made it a close match …! ! Thank you Russell, DK, Pat .. !!! @ Russell12A @DineshKarthik @ patcummins30 @KKRiders “.

In pursuit of a goal of 221 runs, KKR faced a major breakdown and lost the top position of its loft lineup in the single digits. Chennai’s Deepak Chahar shot past KKR’s top order on a four-wicket pull.

It was only after the middle order of the team arrived that the pressure on the CSK bowling unit began to increase.

Karthik popped 40 of 24 balls filled with four fours and two sixes. He was released by Lungi Ngidi.

Meanwhile, Andre Russell scored half a century (54 in 22 balls) but failed to anchor his team’s innings and lost his wicket to Sam Curran.

Australian pacer Pat Cummins hit an unbeaten stroke of 66 runs in 34 balls but received no support as KKR was eliminated in 19.1 overs after 202 runs. Cummins also grabbed four fours and six sixs.

The win put CSK at the top of the IPL 2021 table with six points from four games. KKR is now sixth overall, with just one win out of four games.
