JEE Main 2021 Registration: After the announcement of JEE Main Exam date 2021 by Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, the National Testing Agency (NTA) started the process of registration for engineering entrance examination on Wednesday evening. For the JEE Main examination to be held in February, candidates can apply online by visiting jeemain.nta.nic.in till 16 January 2021. NTA has also released the detailed notification of JEE Main Exam 2021. The JEE Main Examination will be held four times in 2021 years and in the first session it will be held from 23 to 26 February 2021. After February it will be held in March, April and May.

Terms of application

– The last date for payment of fees for the February session examination is 17 January 2021. If the student wishes, fees can also be paid for four sessions at a time. If the student is not able to take the exam in this session, then that fee can be carried forward to another session. After the result of one session, the candidate can withdraw his application. In such a situation the fees deposited for the upcoming sessions will be refunded by the NTA provided the request is made during the same session that the candidate wants to withdraw.

– If the candidate applies for more than one session, he may or may not appear in the examination of other sessions after the first session.

– If a candidate does not apply for the first session (February), then after the result of the first session, he can apply for the second session when the portal opens.

– Only one application has to be filled by the candidate for one session or for more than one session.

Nishank said that the decisions of various boards have been taken into consideration in the pattern of the question paper. Under this, there will be 90 questions in the question paper. He told that the NTA has decided that the candidates will have to answer 75 questions in these. There will be 15 optional questions. The minister informed that the examination will be conducted in 13 languages ​​(English, Hindi, Gujarati, Bangla, Assamese, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Oriya, Tamil, Urdu, Telugu, Punjabi). Till now the JEE examination has been conducted in English, Hindi, Gujarati.

Earlier, the Minister informed that the Ministry of Education has reviewed the suggestions received regarding JEE-Mains and NTA has been asked to consider these suggestions in a positive manner. Keeping these suggestions in mind, important decisions have been taken.

JIT Main Exam is conducted for admission in B.Tech, BE courses in NIT, IIIT and other centrally funded technical institutes etc. Students doing well in JEE Main will get a chance to appear in the JEE Advanced exam. Through the JEE Advanced exam, entry is received in 23 prestigious IITs of the country.

UPSEE (2021) will not be organized this time. In such a situation, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) will enroll students on the basis of the score of JEE Main 2021 in 1.40 lakh seats in 750 colleges in the state of Lucknow.
