It was Prime Minister Modi who overthrew the Kamal Nath government

Indore: BJP national general secretary Kailash Vijay has made sensational remarks that the prime minister has played a key role in the fall of the Congress government in Madhya Pradesh. The Kamal Nath-led Congress government collapsed last March. Kailash Vijayvarghese claimed that Prime Minister Modi had played a key role in overthrowing that government. He made the remarks at a meeting of activists in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. ‘Do not say these words to anyone. So far I have not told anyone. I am revealing for the first time through this House. If anyone has played a leading role in overthrowing the Kamal Nath government, it is Prime Minister Modi. Not Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

With the exception of Rajasthan, the governments of the four Congress-ruled states in the country have collapsed. It is an open secret that the BJP is responsible for the downfall of the respective governments. Even in Rajasthan, it is known that Gehlot tried to overthrow the government to the last. So far, the BJP has toppled Congress governments in four states, leaving only Rajasthan, said state CM Ashok Gehlot. True to these allegations, the BJP leaders themselves, including the party’s national general secretary, have made such remarks.

In Madhya Pradesh, the Kamal Nath-led government came to power in December 2018. However, Jyotiraditya Scindia of the party, along with 22 MLAs from her faction, revolted against CM Kamal Nath. The government collapsed last March due to a lack of adequate numbers. In the wake of this, the BJP regained power in the state.
