The Australian team is struggling with fitness problems before the series starts. David Warner is out due to a groin injury, while Will Pukowski suffered a head injury in the practice match. Fast bowler Sean Abbott will not be able to play the second Test due to the Corona protocol.

With Warner not fit, only Joe Burns and Matthew Wade can start the innings. Langer said, ‘Everyone wants to play their best while playing for Australia. This competition is good for Australia cricket. All the players have to play well to keep their place.
