Hyundai Creta Base E fairing modified to look like a top of the line SX fairing

Hyundai Creta has always been the king of the midsize SUV segment in India. The new generation Creta, which launched earlier this year, is no different. The customers received an overwhelming response. Creta has become widespread on our roads, and numerous modification options have also been launched. In such a short amount of time we’ve seen several modified Hyundai Cretas around the country, and here we have another Hyundai Creta with base Model E that has been modified to look like a top-end SX variant.

The video was uploaded by VIG AUTO ACCESSORIES on their Youtube channel. The video first shows all the changes that have been made to the SUV. Starting from the beginning, the front grille of the base model was removed and replaced by a real Hyundai front grille from the top model. The owner also opted for a front bumper protector that has a diffuser-like design at the bottom. The diffuser area even has red highlights.

The headlights are now getting HID lights. It also gets fog lights along with air ducts next to them. In the side profile, the Creta’s steel rims have been replaced by 17-inch original Hyundai alloy wheels in two colors. Apart from that, it gets roof rails and rain visors with chrome trim. At the rear, Creta gets an aero diffuser with four fake exhaust tips. Just like the front, it gets red accents here too.

The interior of the SUV has also been redesigned. The seat is made of ultra-soft upholstery material. The entire cabin is given a two-tone finish. Ambient lighting is also installed in the car. It gets 7D floor mats, all four-door have 3-layer damping, aftermarket speak setup as well installed. Even the steering is wrapped in white stitching made of soft leather. The owner also installed a steering wheel-mounted controller for the 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment screen that was installed as part of the change. The screen also shows the feed from the rear parking camera. A sunglasses holder with cabin lighting was also installed on the car.

The Creta definitely looks like a top-end version after all these modifications. Hyundai Creta is available with a wide variety of engine and transmission options. There is a 1.5 liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine available with manual and CVT transmission. This engine generates 115 hp and 144 Nm of torque. Next up is a 1.5 liter diesel engine, available with a 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed automatic transmission. This motor generates a maximum torque of 115 hp and 250 Nm. The last engine is a 1.4 liter turbo gasoline engine that produces 140 hp and 242 Nm. It is only available with a 7-speed DCT transmission.

Hyundai is working on a few new models, one of which is a 7-seater version of the Creta SUV. The 7-seater version will take on the MG Hector Plus, Mahindra XUV500 and the upcoming Tata Gravitas. Hyundai is also working on a micro SUV and has been tested abroad.
