New rule will apply to restaurants with more than 10 branches
Please tell that this new rule of FSSAI will apply to restaurants with more than 10 chains. Accordingly, it has become necessary for companies running a central license or running restaurants in more than ten places to provide calorie information in their menu cards. Also, in the menu card, it has to be written that how much quantity of calories is sufficient for which person.
According to this notification of the Government of India, it has become necessary to give information about the nutritional value of the item along with the menu card, display board or booklet. Food chains that sell pizza, burgers such as Pizza Hut, Domino’s, McDonald’s, etc. also have to tell about the calories of their food items. A 100 gram burger has 295 calories
A 100 gram pizza has 260 calories while a hundred gram burger has 295 calories. An average active adult person needs 2000 calories of energy daily, the calorie needs of people may vary according to work. In this way, by writing their nutrition value on every food item, it will be known how much calories can be taken.
