Dell XPS 13 9310 with 11th Generation Intel Tiger Lake CPU launched in India

Dell has finally made the 11th generation Intel ‘Tiger Lake’ processors with XPS 13 official in India. The new model, which was sold in the US and other countries, is a refresh of the XPS 13 9300 that was released earlier this year. The newer model is Intel Evo certified, which means Intel ensures great performance, superior connectivity, and over 9 hours of battery life.

Overall, the design of the new XPS 13 is similar to the model from early 2020. You get a CNC-machined aluminum case with high-quality materials, including the carbon fiber-inspired keyboard deck and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 that protects the display. It continues to be one of the thinnest and most compact 13-inch notebooks on the market.

The notebook also has the same 52 Wh battery as the previous model, which is said to offer up to 14 hours of video streaming for the FHD + model and up to 8 hours of video streaming for the 4K + model. On the connectivity side, you get some USB Type-C ports with Thunderbolt 4 support, a microSD card slot, and a headphone jack. A fingerprint sensor is also built into the power button, Wi-Fi 6 courtesy of the Killer AX1650 module, Intel’s Iris Xe Graphics with shared graphics memory, and the option of two color variants – platinum silver with black carbon fiber palm rest and Frost with arctic white weave Fiberglass palm rest.

The laptop is priced at £ 1.50,990 ($ 2,050) for the base variant, which comes with the Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor with 8 GB of 4267 MHz LPDDR4x memory and a 512 GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD. This model has a 13.4-inch InfinityEdge display with FHD + (1920 x 1200) and a brightness of 500 nits. This is available at all Dell retail stores (at a higher price) as well as from Amazon India (at a lower price).

    The new Dell XPS 13 from the end of 2020 is equipped with the latest Intel Tiger Lake processors of the 11th generation and is also Intel Evo certified.

The more expensive model, priced at ~ $ 2,15,498 on the Dell website ($ 2,926), comes with the Intel Core i7-1185G7 with 16 GB of 4267 MHz LPDDR4x RAM and 1 TB of M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD supplied. Of course, this variant has a 13.4-inch UHD + (3840 x 2400) InfinityEdge touch display with the same brightness of 500 nits. This variant will be available in India from January 2021.
