new Delhi. Hyundai Motor India, the country’s second-largest carmaker, said that 30,000 cars have been booked within 40 days of the launch of its new premium hatchback i20. Not only this, 10,000 cars of this model have also been delivered so far. Hyundai Motor India Director (Sales, Marketing & Services) Tarun Garg said that customers are very much interested in the new generation of i20. Its design, designed keeping in mind the modern technology and future needs, is appealing to the customers. Hyundai launched the new I-20 on November 5.

Ex showroom price is up to Rs 11.17 lakh

Hyundai Motor India hopes that customers will like this car in future also. Customers are liking the high-end variants of the new i20 like Sportz, Asta and Asta (O). The company has included state-of-the-art features in these variants. In all bookings of this car, about 85 percent of the customers have chosen these variants. Features such as BlueLink, OxyBoost Air Purifier, Bose 7 speaker sound system have been made available in these variants. Ex-showroom prices in Delhi are between Rs 6.8 lakh and Rs 11.33 lakh.

Hyundai’s new premium hatchback i20 has been made available in the market with a total of three engine options. In one of its variants, a 1.5 liter capacity CRDi diesel engine has been used. At the same time, in the petrol version, the company has given 1.2 liter Kappa and 1.0 liter turbo GDI petrol engine. The car is available with 5 speed manual, 6 speed intelligent manual transmission (iMT) and 7 speed DCT automatic gearbox (AT).
