Best Buy will start selling PS5 consoles again after replenishing

The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X are expected to be replenished at Best Buy in the US, which is generating a lot of interest.

Since the consoles were released last month, even rumored reorders have drawn fans to every website where the new console may be available. In this case, Best Buy unusually confirmed that the new consoles would arrive in advance.

It just said they would arrive on Tuesday “sometime after 8:00 am” with no more specific information. That means the consoles can arrive anytime after 6 a.m. Pacific time or 9 a.m. Eastern time, although it will likely be soon after that moment.

The consoles will only be available online, although customers can pick them up in person using the “contactless, kinking pickup service”.

“You don’t even have to take off your pajamas as these consoles are only sold online,” Best Buy said in a press release. “Receive your completed order only by picking it up at the roadside.”

Best Buy did not specify how many of the PS5 or Xbox series X and S would be available through replenishment.

The fact that the retailer announced the replenishment through a press release could lead to hope that it will be a substantial replenishment. For the most part, stores didn’t announce the arrival of new consoles in advance.

However, it could be that the company is doing this to promote a sale that starts at the same time and was announced in the same publication.

In the UK, US and elsewhere, fans are struggling to even get next-gen consoles. According to reports, much of the available inventory is being confiscated by resellers listing them at inflated online prices.
