Allegations of Jio- Airtel and Vodafone Idea doing false propaganda under the guise of farmer movement

new Delhi. Reliance Jio Infocom-RJio has accused Airtel and Vodafone-Idea (VI) of spreading false rumors. The company has demanded strict action from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). Actually, Jio alleges that Airtel and VI unethically spread rumors that Jio is going to benefit from the new agricultural laws during the Kisan agitation. Significantly, protests are going on in many places in northern India regarding the new agricultural laws.

Airtel and VI held responsible for increase in number Port request

Jio has said – These companies have been consistently / indirectly supporting such lies and petty rumors that Reliance will be unfairly benefited by the new agricultural laws. Jio has also attributed these rumor campaigns to a large number of port requests.

Customers are referringAccording to Jio, customers are referring to these campaigns to get their numbers ported. Customers are also saying that apart from this, they do not have any service related or other problems with Jio.

Supporting vicious and divisive campaigns through employees, agents, retailers

In the complaint made to TRAI, Jio has said – Airtel-VI continued to support this vicious and divisive campaign through its employees, agents, retailers. They are encouraging people to say that getting Jio’s number ported to other companies is to show support for the farmer movement.

Apart from this, Jio has also accused its rival companies of using the peasant movement to tarnish its image.
